If you do not want to get a paper jigsaw in your apartment because you have little children who can choke on the pieces accidently, you can get an electronic USA map puzzle. It is also fun but this time in front of a screen of your PC. Drag and drop US states on their places on the map and learn the National Geography with your children and help them getting to know the States better. Put aside boring and old-fashioned educational methods, leaving them for a rainy day, but now let your child be interested in educational process! Reading that Virginia is north (meaning "on top of") than North Carolina does not stick in the mind very well. Seeing a picture is better, and moving the states around on a map is better still. It is easier to remember and more meaningful. Give your child a picture of the world that he or she will always have in his or her mind. From history books to the nightly news, or the Net, your child will know the place of important events held.
